A statement victory on the road secured the Bees three points against Cambridge United.
The Bees started brightly in the Cledara Abbey Stadium, taking their changes sending shots towards the keeper.
Cambridge responded quickly, having their turn to test the Bees defence.
The breakthrough came early on as Martins played into Campbell who collected the ball and netted it past the keeper.
It was the duo again next as Campbell sent the ball into the box, hoping for it to be collected by Martins who was blocked by the opposition.
The U’s looked to equalise as they upped the pressure on the Bees’ defence, being denied by efforts from Wozniak and Ginn.
The opposition eventually joined the scoresheet from a low strike that slipped past Ginn.
Lanza looked to pull the Bees back ahead as she makes an effort through a header but can’t find the target.
It was back and forth as both teams looked to make the difference with Hoare and Lanza taking their chances while Ginn also had work to do between the sticks before the first half ended level.

The second half begun with one change to Dan McKimm’s side as Vigo entered the pitch in the place of Budden.

Martins looked to double the Bees’ lead next, sending the ball across the face of the goal but with no one there to tap it in, the chance fell to the opposition keeper.
Campbell secured herself a brace, collecting the ball in the box and slotting it past the keeper, extending the Bees’ lead.
Two more substitutions came for the Bees as Larkin and Vyse came on for Campbell and Burrows.
