The Bees hit five on their way to gaining another three points in the FA Women’s National League – beating Hounslow 5-0 at The Hive London, ATP Three.

It was a first half full of chances for the Bees, as they registered their first shot on target in the second minute when Megan Wood’s free-kick was caught by Hounslow goalkeeper, Sophia Garrido.

In the 11th minute the hosts hit the woodwork after Courtnay Ward-Chambers’ curling corner made its way to Wilson who rifled goalwards and forced Garrido to palm the ball onto the post.

Sian Osmond’s side broke the deadlock in the 19th minute, when Wilson picked out Ward-Chambers in front of goal, who swept it into the bottom right corner.

It was almost 2-0 moments later, as Wood was able to find a pass through to Wilson who sent her volley ricocheting off the underside of the crossbar, but it didn’t cross the line.

Ashleigh Goddard, on her first start since her return to the Bees, had a go at goal with two minutes left of the half, but her shot went just wide of the upright.

Sian Osmond’s side added a second just after the interval when Jade Bell sprinted along the right wing and crossed in towards goal.

Garrido fumbled the ball and it fell perfectly to the feet of Wilson, who slammed it into the back of the net to score her first of the night.

Goddard scored the Bees’ third goal in the 52nd minute after Flo Gamby sent her through on goal.

The 29-year-old stayed calm to slot the ball into the bottom corner and bag her first goal since recovering from a stroke six months ago.

A quick succession of chances followed for Goddard who forced Garrido into a diving save before making the ‘keeper work once more with a looping strike that was pushed away.

In the 71st minute Millie Constantine almost made it four as she latched onto Garrido’s poor clearance and chipped the ball over her from the edge of the box, but it bounced off the crossbar and behind.

The relentless pressure continued from the Bees who scored their fourth goal of the match in the 83rd minute.

Gamby won back possession before setting up Wilson, who drilled it low through the goalie’s legs and across the line from distance.

A double save from Garrido denied the Bees a fifth in the 89th minute, but Bell was able to pick out Gamby one minute later to put the game to bed, as she found the bottom corner with a first time strike.

Hounslow almost pulled one back in the final moments of added time as Emma O’Hare fired wide from 20-yards out, leaving Sian Osmond’s side to record a third-straight victory in the FA Women’s National League.
