The Bees play their first home match of 2026 this Sunday (2pm) as they take on Chesham United in the FAWNL Division One South East.

London Bees:

London Bees opened their 2026 campaign with a hard-fought 0–0 draw away to AFC Sudbury at The Elite Travel Stadium.

The Bees started brightly and enjoyed spells of possession, but Sudbury also threatened, forcing several key interventions from goalkeeper Tia Ginn, who produced a string of impressive saves throughout the match.

Sandra Martins came closest to breaking the deadlock, seeing a second-half strike ruled out for offside and later testing the Sudbury defence again, while the hosts also went close on a number of occasions.

Despite chances at both ends and late pressure from each side, neither team could find a breakthrough.

The points were ultimately shared in an evenly contested FAWNL Division One South East encounter.

Last time these two sides met:

These two sides met at the start of the current season, with the London Bees making a flying start with a dominant 4–0 away victory over Chesham United.

The Bees dominated from the outset and took an early lead when Lily Whitelock finished confidently after a well weighted pass from Rebekah Wozniak.

After controlling the first half and going close on several occasions, the Bees doubled their advantage early in the second period as Sam Lanza converted from close range following Betty Larkin’s delivery.

Continued pressure told late on, with Brionne Fowle firing in a rebound for the third before Cheyenne Flynn added a fourth from a corner in stoppage time, capping a commanding performance and a deserved clean sheet.

Dan McKimm and his side will be wanting to get back to winning ways this Sunday, as they aim to take the remaining three points from our visitors and progress up the league table.
