The points are shared as the London Bees last away game of the season ends in a 1-1 draw against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

As the game got underway, both sides looked determined to make a fast start and gain an early advantage.

The hosts created the first opening, delivering an early cross from the right, but Tia Ginn reacted well to leap and get a strong hand to the ball, pushing it away from danger.

QPR registered the first shot on target soon after, finding space to go one-on-one with Ginn. Although the effort slipped between her legs, the Bees’ shot stopper recovered brilliantly to get a touch and keep the scores level.

From there, the Bees began to grow into the game, applying pressure on the QPR backline. Shamoy Campbell and Sandra Martins were particularly lively down the flanks, making forward runs in search of an opening.

The breakthrough came after ten minutes. Betty Larkin was played through on goal and found herself one-on-one with Caitlin Crierie. Remaining composed, she slotted the ball into the bottom right corner to give the Bees an early lead.

The goal boosted the visitors’ confidence, as they continued to push forward and apply pressure on the hosts.

Later in the half, QPR threatened on the counterattack. Ginn rushed out to intercept but was rounded by the attacker.

However, Burrows reacted quickly to clear the ball away from goal and preserve the lead.

On the stroke of half-time, the hosts came close again, working the ball into the box for a close-range effort. Aria Heil made an important block before the danger was cleared, bringing the half to an end.

Half-Time: QPR 0–1 London Bees

QPR started the second half brightly, creating an early chance in the box, but Heil was once again on hand to block before Burrows cleared.

Ginn was called into action shortly after, producing an excellent save to tip the ball over the crossbar for a corner, which ultimately came to nothing.

The Bees struggled to find their rhythm in the second half, though their backline remained resilient under sustained pressure from the hosts.

Midway through the half, the Bees had a chance to double their lead. A curling through ball found Martins, who took a touch before firing a low effort just wide of the post.

Moments later, QPR found their equaliser. A cross from the left was met by Ginn, but the ball wasn’t cleared in time and was turned in at the back post, bringing the hosts level in the final ten minutes.

Dan McKimm responded with changes, introducing Millie Isherwood, Ryah Vyse, and Renai Bennett in search of a winner.

Despite their efforts, the Bees were unable to create a decisive chance in the closing stages, and the points were shared at Loftus Road.
