The Bees host the league champions Fulham at The Bees Stadium in the FAWNL for the final game of the 2025/26 campaign.

London Bees:

In their most recent fixture, the London Bees drew 1–1 with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in their final away game of the season.

Both sides started strongly, with QPR creating early chances, but goalkeeper Tia Ginn made important saves to keep the scores level.

The Bees grew into the game and took the lead after ten minutes when Betty Larkin calmly finished a one-on-one chance against the R’s goalkeeper.

They maintained pressure for much of the first half and went into the break ahead.

In the second half, QPR responded with sustained attacking pressure, while the Bees’ defence held firm despite struggling to regain momentum.

Sandra Martins came close to doubling the lead, but her effort went just wide.

QPR eventually equalised in the final ten minutes after a cross wasn’t fully cleared.

Despite late substitutions to push for a winner, the Bees couldn’t find a decisive goal, and the match ended in a draw.

“Here it is, time for one last dance this season.

Everyone us worked incredibly hard throughout the season and we’ve had some incredible moments and brilliant experiences, including the FA Cup run and game against Liverpool.

Sunday is now just a chance for the players to go and express themselves one last time this season.

To enjoy the moment and hopefully showcase the fruits of their efforts.

Finally, on behalf of the staff and players I just want to put on record a massive thank you to everyone who has come down to support us this season – we truly appreciate and can’t wait to see you one more time on Sunday”!

Fulham:

Fulham Women is a South West London based football team whose roots date back to 1993. They made history in 2000 by becoming the first fully professional women’s team in Europe.

The club was re-establishment in 2018 under their current name, and during the 2024–25 season they won the London & South East Women’s Regional Football League Premier Division and secured promotion to the FA Women’s National League Division One South East.

On the 12th of April Fulham Women lifted the FAWNL Division One South East League trophy after a 3-0 win against MK Dons at Craven Cottage, claiming back-to-back league trophies and promotions after winning the London & South East Regional Women’s last season.

Fulham FC Women reached the Capital Women’s Cup Final with a 2–1 win over Tottenham Hotspur Academy.

They made a perfect start, scoring after just 66 seconds through Kayleigh Stead, and dominated much of the first half, creating several chances but only leading 1–0 at the break.

Spurs improved after halftime and equalised with a long-range strike from Ruby Gaitely.

Fulham responded positively, continuing to press, and regained the lead when Stella Gandee Morgan finished from close range following a counterattack.

Despite late pressure from Spurs, Fulham held firm defensively to secure the victory and book their place in the final.

Ones to watch:

Fulham forward Ellie Olds is the clubs leading top goal scorer this season, scoring twenty-three goals and getting seven assists in twenty-eight appearances in all competitions.

Forward Kayleigh Stead is second place for goals, scoring twelve goals and getting thirteen assists in twenty-seven appearances.

In total the pair have contributed to sixty-five goals in all competitions for The Cottagers this season.

Last time these two sides met:

London Bees suffered a heavy 5–0 defeat away to Fulham earlier in the season.

Fulham took an early lead in the seventh minute and added a second in the 30th minute before scoring twice more in quick succession to go 4–0 up at half-time.

The Bees made several changes at the break and showed improved energy in the second half, creating a few chances through Fowle and Larkin, but were unable to convert.

Fulham added a fifth goal late on, and despite a more resilient second half display the game ended in a defeat for the Bees.

Dan McKimm will be eager for his side to finish on a high this Sunday as they look to end the 2025/26 season with a win.
