London Bees are delighted to announce we will be hosting Real Bedford in a pre-season friendly at The Bees Stadium on Sunday 12th of July for a 3pm kick off.
London Bees last faced Real Bedford in a league fixture back in December 2024, coming from behind twice in an entertaining 2-2 draw at The Ledger Stadium.
After falling behind to an early strike, the Bees responded quickly through Megan Burrows’ close-range finish and created further chances before the break.
Bedford regained the lead in the second half, but the Bees refused to give up and were rewarded in the 89th minute when Ines Affri volleyed home from Hoare’s cross to secure a hard-fought draw.
