London Bees are delighted to announce the signing of defender Grace Breen ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The defender joins the Bees from the academy of WSL side Tottenham Hotspur, after spending 8 years with the North London Club.
Breen featured in the Women’s Capital Cup quarter-final earlier this year, contributing to the scoresheet for the Lilywhites which ended in a 5-2 defeat for the Bees with Spurs progressing to the semi-final of the cup.
During last season she also had a loan spell with fellow league opposition Queens Park Rangers, where she went on to make 8 appearances for the R’s, gaining valuable first team experience in the FAWNL Division One South East.
On securing the signing of Grace, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“I’m delighted that we’ve managed to bring Grace to the club.
After 8 years with Spurs, a change will bring new challenges for her but I’m confident she’ll fit seamlessly into the environment here.
She’s a really good character, a very talented player, and I like the way she leads and communicates on the pitch which is something that is becoming more and more rare in younger players these days.
I also see a high ceiling and huge potential for further development, so with the support of the fantastic staff that we have here I think there’s a lot to be excited about with Grace”.
On joining the Bees, Grace said:
“I am just so excited to be here and get going, it just feels like such an amazing opportunity for me so I’m just so excited about getting started.
The conversations I’ve had with Dan shows that me how he wants to progress the club, he wants to get promoted and that’s what I want.
I want us as a team to be playing tier three football next season, and I want us to win as many games as possible and play well as a team”.
Welcome to the Bees, Grace!
This deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
