London Bees are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Maddison Millington-Stanbury on loan from AFC Bournemouth for the 2026/27 campaign.
The shot-stopper’s journey began in Arsenal’s Academy, going on to win a number of youth titles, including the WSL Academy Championship, Capital Cup, and the U19 FIFA Youth Cup.
Maddison dual signed with Watford towards the end of the 2024/25 in what was then known as the Women’s Championship, before spending a season with Oxford United in the FA Women’s National League.
The youngster has also represented England u17s, playing alongside the likes of Lionesses Euro 2022 Young Player of the Tournament Michelle Agyemang and emerging defender Katie Reid.
London Bees Head Dan McKimm spoke on Maddison’s arrival saying:
“It’s great to have worked this deal with Bournemouth to bring a player of Maddison’s quality in.
She’s got spades of potential and it’s our job to help her realise more of that this season.
It also gives us real strength in depth within the goalkeeping department, which is obviously a key area if we’re to achieve our goal this season”.
Maddison spoke on her loan move to the Bees by saying:
“I’m so excited to be here, the ambitions of this club is just insane and I’m just so excited to get started and get my first game under the belt.
The desire that this club has to progress and be the best club that they can be is what I want to be apart of, the ambition of winning the league and the set up that they have here is just really good to be apart of”.
Welcome to the Bees, Maddison!
This deal is subject to FA and League clearances.
