London Bees are delighted to announce that forward Grace Stanley has joined the Bees for the upcoming season!
The clinical finisher joins the Bees from fellow Division One South East side Queen’s Park Rangers, after spending three and a half seasons with the West London club.
Grace started her football journey with Cambridge City before spells with Loughborough University and Loughborough Lightning, prior to returning to Cambridge City before joining QPR during the 2022/23 season.
She made an immediate impact in West London, finishing as the club’s leading goalscorer in her debut season and quickly establishing herself as one of the division’s most dangerous forwards.
Her outstanding performances earned her the NNR QPR FC Women’s Player of the Year award in both 2022/23 and 2023/24.
Stanley followed up those accolades with another exceptional campaign in 2023/24, scoring an impressive 26 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions, underlining her reputation as a clinical finisher in front of goal.
A proven goalscorer with a consistent eye for goal, Grace brings experience, leadership and a strong winning mentality to the Bees’ attack.
London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm spoke on Grace joining the Bees by saying:
“Grace should add further firepower to our top line going into the new campaign and has a proven track record of consistently netting at this level.
I think last season was probably a little lean by her own high standards, but she still would have been our joint top scorer in the league if she was here, so I’m confident we can get her firing on all cylinders again and if we do, I think she could make some huge contributions for us”.
Grace also spoke on her move to the club saying:
“I’m really excited to be here, it’s a great set up here and it’s a new opportunity for me so I’m really excited to get started for the new season.
It’s a club that aligns with what I’m looking for, a team pushing for promotion with a great group and set up here, and everyone wanting to do well so I can’t wait to get going”.
