London Bees are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Gemma Biggadike ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 season!
Gemma spent pre-season on trial with the Bees, and after an impressive month of hard work and some standout performances, she has earned herself a contract with the club for the new campaign.
The midfielder made her mark during the Bees’ 5-0 victory over Hammersmith, providing the assist for the opening goal.
Gemma delivered a pinpoint cross into the box, which was met by Rebekah Wozniak, who headed home to give the Bees the lead.
Gemma joins London Bees having most recently represented Real Bedford.
During her time with the Pirates, she played an important role in their promotion from the FA Women’s National League Division One South East, gaining valuable experience in the third tier of the women’s game.
She began her footballing journey in the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, before progressing to Watford and MK Dons, ahead of her move to Real Bedford.
Gemma will also reunite with former Bedford teammates Abbie and Rubie at the Bees, adding further experience, quality and character to Dan McKimm’s squad.
Her arrival makes Gemma the 12th new signing for London Bees ahead of the 2026/27 season, as preparations continue for the new campaign.
Speaking on the Club’s latest signing, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“I’m delighted to have Gem through the door.
She’s an excellent character and a natural leader, and brings huge quality to a key area of the pitch.
We’ve got fantastic strength in depth across our midfield now, which is going to be key in maintaining the levels we want to be at throughout the duration of the season”.
Gemma spoke on her move to the Bees by saying:
“I’m really happy to be here, I think from the moment I came in to my first session I could see what the club is about and I can see what Dan is trying to achieve.
I think they’ve got really high aims and that is something I want to be apart of, love to contribute to it wherever I can.
So yeah I’m really happy with how it all worked out and yeah I can’t wait to get started”.
