Sarah Quantrill nominated for player of the month

London Bees goalkeeper Sarah Quantrill has been nominated for the FA Women’s Championship player of the month award for January.

The Bees number one has played an instrumental part in her sides terrific start to the new decade as they gained four points from their opening two matches. More importantly, she has kept back to back clean sheets which have been pivotal to the early success of the Bees.

Manager Lee Burch said “Sarah has had an excellent season so far. She continues to add to her game not only controlling her defence well but captaining the sides recently. I’m pleased she has been recognised for two excellent away clean sheets”
