Sian, a trip to Stadium MK awaits and a chance to get back to winning ways?

“Yes I hope so. We cannot underestimate the opponent we will face as they have had a tough run of fixtures to start the season.

“They will definitely be picking up more points throughout the season and they are better than their table position suggests.

“We are preparing for a tough and competitive game, but we are hoping to come away with the three points.”

Having put in a solid performance against Ipswich, what are you expecting from the players on Wednesday evening?

“I am hoping for a positive response. There were good moments in and out of possession on Sunday that I hope we can carry forward.

“We have got a bit of work to do in the buildup to the game but I am hoping to see a little bit more positivity and creativity in the attacking play.”

How are the players faring after the quick turnaround from the last game?

“They are doing alright. We have a few players that we are still nursing through some knocks picked up over the last few weeks.

“For the most part we came out the last few games relatively unscathed. The squad should be in a good place.”

What is the mood in the dressing room ahead of playing in a Stadium MK?

“It is a great occasion to be able to play in a stadium like theirs, so the girls will definitely enjoy it.

“As it is a midweek game under the lights, it makes the occasion much more special for everyone.

“The girls are in a really positive place and are looking forward to the match.”

Jo Wilson made her debut back at the Bees on Sunday. Is she expected to feature on Wednesday evening?

“Yes, it was massively exciting to get Jo back in a Bees shirt and I am really looking forward to seeing how she can progress within the group over the next few months.

“I am very pleased to have her on board and she will definitely be involved against MK Dons and in the games going forwards.”

Another new signing is Hannah Porter who you mentioned can play a big part in the season ahead?

“She had a really solid debut and made a real difference within the backline in terms of calmness and stability within our build-up play.

“She gave us the opportunity to play out over different distances with her distribution, and out of possession I think she was fantastic against a really strong front three that Ipswich had.”

As you said, playing under the lights is always a special occasion and I am sure the Bees fans will be there to support us.

“It is what we all love and it adds a sense of occasion to it all. Hopefully we will see a few Bees fans make their way down to Stadium MK and support us and the girls.”
