The Bees made it four unbeaten in the League with a goalless draw at AFC Sudbury on Sunday afternoon.
In a mid-table clash between 7th and 8th it proved to be a close game. Lanza with the first chance for the Bees when her shot stung the palms of Sudbury keeper Nina Meollo.
A corner swung in for the hosts found it’s way to Megan Edwards in the box, but the Bees defence was on hand to clear away.
Wozniak was looking to cause problems when her perfect through-ball found it’s way to Isherwood who took the shot on, but her effort went just wide.
Sudbury had the final chance of the first half free a free kick in a dangerous position. The shot called Ginn into action to make the stop.
In a similar position to shoot as the previous free-kick, Sudbury had another chance. This effort was struck at goal but again saved by Ginn.
Substitute Burrows came close on the 60th minute mark when her shot from outside the box forced Meollo into the save.
The best chance of the game came with eight minutes to go. A corner swung in met Isherwood at the back post who shot from close range, but Meollo pulled off a fantastic save to deny the Bees a probable winner.
Another late save from the Sudbury keeper ended the game goalless. The Bees remain 7th in Division One South East.
