Bees put on a stunning performance as they beat Maidenhead United 6-0 at home during a pre-season friendly on Thursday night.

From the very first whistle, the Bees made their intentions clear, taking control of the match within the opening minutes and pushing forward in search of an early advantage.

It didn’t take long for the breakthrough to arrive.

In the 9th minute, Lily Whitelock gave the Bees the lead, calmly slotting the ball into the bottom left corner after finding space in front of goal.

The momentum stayed firmly with the Bees, who continued to carve out chances through quick passing and intelligent movement in the final third.

Just after the 20-minute mark, the hosts doubled their lead.

Shamoy Campbell collected the ball in midfield, surged forward, and unleashed a powerful strike from distance that flew into the net with pinpoint precision.

As the half progressed, the Bees looked even more dominant, with Sandra Martins, Fran Vigo, and Brionne Fowle all trying their luck from various positions, eager to add their names to the scoresheet.

The third goal came just before the break and it was Whitelock again, mirroring the earlier strike from Campbell, she fired a long-range effort that curled past the keeper, struck the post, and bounced in, securing her second goal of the match.

Half-Time: London Bees 3-0 Maidenhead United

The Bees carried their attacking energy into the second half and wasted no time extending their lead.

Within minutes, Sandra Martins found herself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and showed great composure to slot the ball into the bottom right corner.

Less than ten minutes later, Sam Lanza added the fifth.

After receiving a perfectly weighted pass from Martins, she raced through on goal and confidently found the net.

The Bees were now in complete control.

Maidenhead tried to respond but were consistently denied by the Bees’ solid backline, with Cheyenne Flynn leading the defensive efforts and helping preserve the clean sheet.

Manager Dan McKimm introduced fresh legs, bringing on Betty Larkin, Ryah Vyse, and Layla Kenly for Lanza, Whitelock, and Aria Heil.

The chances kept coming as Fowle came close again with a clever move to beat her marker, but her shot from outside the box cannoned off the crossbar.

In the final minutes, Layla Kenly created another opportunity with a burst down the right wing and a beautifully curled shot aimed at the top left corner.

The keeper pulled off a brilliant save, but Fowle was quickest to react, pouncing on the rebound and smashing the ball home to make it six.

Despite some late efforts from the visitors, the Bees held firm, and the referee’s whistle confirmed a dominant and well-earned victory.
