The London Bees kicked off their new season in style, delivering a dominant 4–0 victory away at Chesham United.

From the opening whistle, the Bees showed their intent, flying out of the blocks with early pressure that kept the hosts pinned in their own half.

A flurry of early chances set the tone for what would become a commanding performance.

Just over ten minutes in, Rebekah Wozniak threaded a perfectly timed pass through to Lily Whitelock, who found space in the box and fired confidently into the far corner to open the scoring for the new campaign.

Chesham looked to respond, testing the Bees with a speculative long-range effort that sailed over the bar.

But it was clear that the momentum remained firmly with the Bees.

The Bees continued to press, pushing for a second.

Megan Burrows came close when she squared a ball across the face of goal to Sam Lanza, only for a last-ditch defensive interception to deny what looked like a certain goal.

The intensity didn’t let up, with the Bees dictating the pace and forcing turnovers high up the pitch.

As half-time approached, they nearly doubled their lead, first through a long-range effort from Wozniak that was well saved, and then a towering header from Cheyenne Flynn that rattled the crossbar.

Half-Time: Chesham United 0–1 London Bees

The second half began as the first ended, with the Bees firmly in control.

Betty Larkin went close with a volley from outside the area following a cleared corner, though her strike just cleared the bar.

Soon after, the Bees got the breakthrough they deserved.

Larkin delivered a dangerous ball from the right wing, which Lanza calmly tucked home from close range to make it 2–0.

Chances continued to flow, as Shamoy Campbell whipped in a brilliant cross toward Lanza at the far post, but the delivery had just too much on it as it drifted out for a goal kick.

Manager Dan McKimm freshened things up with a series of substitutions, bringing on Layla Kenly, Fran Vigo, Olivia Clement, and Millie Isherwood making her return from a pre-season injury.

Isherwood wasted no time making an impact, nearly marking her return with a sensational strike that forced an outstanding save from the Chesham goalkeeper.

With full-time approaching, the Bees added a third when Campbell’s shot from the left was parried, but Brionne Fowle reacted quickly to smash home the rebound.

As the match ticked into added time, the Bees weren’t finished.

A late corner found its way to Flynn, who tapped in from close range to cap off a brilliant team performance and seal a deserved clean sheet.
