August
The Bees started the season with an opening day victory away at Billericay Town. Goals from Courtnay Ward-Chambers and Nikita Whinnett secured the points on the road. The Bees opening home game saw them draw 1-1 with Crawley Wasps with Courtnay Ward-Chambers getting on the score sheet again. The London Bees ended August with defeat against league leaders Oxford United.
September
It was a winning start to September for the ladies, securing back-to-back away wins. Goals from Kayla Potter and Ryah Vyse secured a 2-1 win for the ten-ladies away at Plymouth Argyle. That was followed by a 1-0 away win at Portsmouth thanks to a second goal in two games for Ryah Vyse.
October & November
After three wins in five games a difficult period followed for The Bees. Defeats against Cheltenham, Gillingham and Watford at The Hive concluded a tough October for London Bees. The only league game of November also ended in defeat away at Milton Keynes.
FA Cup
London Bees will face Lewes in the third round of the FA Cup. A first round 4-0 demolition of Hackney saw the Bees progress into round two. London Bees were 2-0 up against Southampton in round two before an injury to a Southampton player saw the game abandoned in the second half. The Bees comfortably won the rearranged fixture 3-0 at The Hive and progressed into the Third Round.
Next & 2023
London Bees play their last game of 2022 away at Championship side, Lewes on Sunday 11th December in the third round of the FA Cup. The Bees next home game is on Sunday 8th January 2023 against Billericay Town.
