The Bees cup action continues this week as they travel to Honeycroft Stadium to take on Queens Park Rangers in the Capital Women’s Senior Cup.
London Bees:
The Bees fell out of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on Sunday after a 6-0 defeat to WSL opposition Liverpool at The Hive Stadium.
Liverpool set the tone early, controlling possession and putting the London Bees under pressure.
Two quick goals inside the opening 15 minutes gave the visitors control, despite strong defensive efforts from Flynn, Lanza and a series of impressive saves from goalkeeper Ginn.
Liverpool added a third in the 33rd minute to lead 3–0 at half-time.
The Bees made changes after the break and showed moments of attacking intent, with Isherwood and Whitelock pushing forward, but chances were limited.
A disallowed goal briefly halted Liverpool’s momentum, though they soon restored it with a fourth from a corner.
Further late pressure saw Liverpool add two more goals in the final minutes, sealing a 6–0 victory despite continued resistance from the Bees.

Queens Park Rangers:

Caitlin Crierie set the tone early with a one-on-one save, while the first half saw chances at both ends, including efforts that struck the crossbar for each side.
Despite a strong spell of pressure from the R’s, MK Dons took a 1–0 lead into half-time and extended it shortly after the restart.
Rangers responded immediately through Dzyadyk, who’s well taken finish reignited belief, and continued to push for an equaliser.
That pressure was rewarded in the 80th minute as Dzyadyk struck again to level the match.
Both teams searched for a late winner, but a crucial stoppage-time save from Crierie ensured Rangers held on for a deserved point.

In the opposition dugout:
Queens Park Rangers manager Danny Harrigan will be in the away dugout for the R’s on Sunday.
Danny was appointed head coach back in the summer of 2024, and during this summer he’s taken up the role full-time for the 2025–26 season.
Under his leadership, the club has received increased investment and professional support, including access to the elite training centre and structured training-and-development programmes.
Ones to watch:
R’s forward Grace Stanley is the club’s current top goal scorer so far this season, scoring seven goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
Last time these two sides met:
Both sides last met back in December in the FAWNL Division One South East, where the Bees took the three points after a 2-0 home victory over the R’s.
Both sides found it difficult to break down well organised defences early on, with Bees goalkeeper Ginn producing a series of key saves to keep the scores level at half-time.
The hosts emerged strongly in the second half, applying sustained pressure and forcing a succession of corners before finally taking the lead when Campbell tapped in from Isherwood’s well-delivered free kick.
Momentum swung firmly in the Bees’ favour soon after as a handball in the box earned a penalty, calmly converted by Isherwood.
Late substitutions helped see out the match as the Bees held firm to return to winning ways.
Dan McKimm and his side will now be wanting to turn their attention to a new cup run, as they look to progress to the next round of the Capital Women’s Senior Cup.
