A great match for the Bees sees them pick up three points in their final home game of the 24/25 season after a 5-0 win over Ashford Town.

The Bees started the match well showing promise right from kick off.

A few early chances for Millie Isherwood set the scene, taking shots in and around the box and testing the Ashford defence.

Her goal soon came in the 12th minute after she got on the end of a great pass from Hayley Hoare and put the ball straight in the back of the net.

Four minutes later, in the 16th minute, Isherwood and Hoare linked up again to put the Bees another goal ahead.

Only two minutes later, in the 18th minute, Isherwood secured her hattrick and the Bees were sitting comfortably in front of the opposition.

Another test for the Ashford Town keeper, Vigolo, came from Shamoy Campbell who broke through the defence and forced her into a lucky save.

Half time: 3 – 0

In the early minutes of the second half, Campbell secured her goal after smashing the ball into the top right corner of the net.

Callison and Grant came onto the pitch in the place of Hoteit and Burrows.

Sophie Lee also took a chance at getting her name on the scoresheet, taking a good shot that the keeper managed to get a hold of.

In the 8oth minute, Hayley Hoare finally got a goal of her own after two assists, slotting the ball right past the keeper.

Dan McKimm made another change to the team as McDermott came on to replace Durn.

A powerful shot was saved impressively by Ginn who dealt with one of her first real tests with ease.
