A well fought battle by the Bees ends in a 2-1 defeat against Actonians in the FA Women’s National League.
The opening half of the match began with both teams fighting for possession, with the Bees keeping the ball in the opposition end for the majority.
It took 15 minutes for the first break through of the clash with a shot for the Bees going wide of the goal.
Actonians soon responded taking a shot of their own which was scooped up by Tia Ginn and play continued.
The first of many corners was taken by Millie Isherwood with the ball going out after a scramble in the box from the Bees attempting to land a header.
This was followed shortly after by another corner that the visitors dealt with.
The scoresheet was first opened by Actonians in the 38th minute, who took the lead before heading into the break.

The second half began with Shamoy Campbell entering the pitch in place of Fran Vigo as the first substitution for the Bees.
A great early chance for Isherwood came in the first few minutes of the second half, but her shot flew over the bar.
Another corner came for the Bees which was once again cleared by Actonians.
A breakthrough finally came in the 77th minute when Isherwood was played through on goal and took a shot from the right side of the box with the ball flying past the keeper, levelling the score late on.
However, three minutes later Actonians went ahead again, giving the Bees more work to do in the last ten minutes of the game.
A few last ditch chances were taken, as the Bees hitting the crossbar twice in the final moments, but no efforts were successful and the full time whistle blew.
