The Bees extended their unbeaten run to six games in all competitions after a thrilling draw against the flying Canaries.
It was the visitors who got off to a flying start when Tomlinson’s cross met the head of Shaw in the box who got the crucial touch to take the ball away from Ginn to give Norwich the lead.
Just six minutes later and the Bees had their equaliser when Lee’s cross into the box was well received by Lanza who was able to guide the ball into the back of the net, setting up what would be a thrilling game.
The Bees pressure was mounting, and the second goal nearly arrived when Norwich keeper Quantrill was on hand to make a great save to deny the Bees.
On the stroke of half time McKimm’s side had their second when a corner was swung into the path of Lanza who headed the ball into the back of the net past Quantrill.
Half Time 2-1
The Canaries had their equaliser just three minutes into the second half when a copy of their first goal was tried and tested. Another Tomlinson cross to the head of Shaw who made no mistake from inside the box to head the ball in.
The game was ramping up with the Bees seeing several chances well defended by the visitors including a goal line clearance in the 55th minute.
Despite the Bees pressure it was Norwich who grabbed their third of the afternoon when a goal mouth scramble allowed Shaw to get her foot on the ball to hammer home her hattrick.
Momentum was building towards the end of the game and in the dying seconds Hoare raced forward before placing a beautiful effort into the bottom left-hand corner to rescue a point right at the end.
