London Bees came from behind to take the lead in the second half, but the visitors pulled one back to end the game in a draw.
Within the opening minutes of the game the Bees were kicked into action as goalkeeper Tia Ginn jumped high to make the first save of the game from a Peterborough long shot.
It didn’t take long for the London Bees to start their attack as striker Betty Larkin finds space in front of the goal for a shot, but it lands slightly off target.
Both sides were showing good efforts in the half, as the deadlock looked soon to be broken.
And it didn’t take long as the visitors struck the net in the 17th minute, when Jess Rousseau capitalised on a mistake at the back to give her side the lead.
Moments later the Bees returned fire as Lily Whitelock stepped up to take a free kick, she hits it with power, striking the underside of the crossbar.
The ball bounces on the line but was cleared at the last second, keeping the visitors in the lead.
Throughout the half the Bees continued to push on, looking for a way back in this game.
Larkin came close to her first goal for the Bees as she wins the ball from a goalkeeping mistake but she ends up hitting the post.
But straight after the Bees had find the leveller, as this time Larkin collected the ball, taking a shot on goal and finding the back of the net just before the break.
Half-Time: London Bees 1-1 Peterborough United
As the second half kicked off Peterborough looked to regain their lead, by taking a strike seconds into the half, but the shot went over the bar.
However, minutes later in was the Bees who took the lead, when Sam Lanza crossed the ball into the box finding Lily Whitelock, who tapped it in making it 2-1.
The London Bees started to find their rhythm, but the lead sadly didn’t last long as Rousseau found her second of the game, intercepting a back pass and slotting the ball past the keeper.
The visitors almost took back the lead minutes later, but this time Ginn provided a brilliant stop to keep the score level.
During the second half the Bees were able to create better chances for themselves but struggled to convert the effort in the final moments.
Attempts from Whitelock and Shamoy Campbell found its way onto goal, but the goalkeeper kept denying the Bees the lead.
On the 90th minute the Bees were able to take a few more chances but the referee blew for full-time ending the game 2-2.

The Bees will be back next weekend for their final pre-season game before the start of the season on the 17th of August.
