London Bees are delighted to announce that Rebekah Wozniak has agreed terms to extend her stay at the club for the following season.
Wozniak joined the club back in August 2024, and in her first season she has made 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and getting 5 assists throughout the season.
Speaking on her stay, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
We started the year with three centre-backs all under the age of 19, none of whom had played first team football at WNL level before, but all three of them have grown immensely this season.
And none more so than Rebekah.
She’s a completely different player to the shy, understated girl who walked through our doors last summer.
Her technical ability is absolutely ridiculous, but she’s really learned how to be a defender this season – communication, reading of the game, aggression, her ability in the air – all the ‘ugly’ stuff that kids don’t want to do these days, she’s embraced, listened and learned, and what a player she’s becoming.
Next year should be huge for her, so getting her signature on that paper is huge for us.
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
