London Bees are delighted to announce that midfielder Megan Burrows has signed a new contract with the Bees for the 2026/27 season!
Midfielder Megan Burrows will enter her third season with the club after signing a new contract ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, whilst also continuing her work under head coach Dan McKimm.
Megan joined the Bees in the summer of 2024, after spending two seasons with former FA Women’s National League Division One South East side London Seaward (known now as Athletico London).
During her first season with the Bees, she made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and assisting 1.
This season she’s made 30 appearances across all competitions, playing across multiple key fixtures throughout the campaign including starting in the FA Cup Fourth Round fixture against WSL side Liverpool.
Speaking on Megan’s new contract, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“Obviously, Megs is someone I’ve worked with for a long time now, so there’s a great deal of trust there.
I know exactly what to expect from her, and she knows exactly what’s needed from us.
She speaks her mind and I like that, but she’s never one to put herself before the team.
I think she often gets overlooked as to just what an effective player she is, and how important she can be to the side.
Her work in transitions is crucial to how we play and has been so, so effective this season.
It’s an area that she’s really developed over the last two seasons, I haven’t seen anyone as effective in this area as her at this level”.
Congratulations Megan!
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
