London Bees are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Emma Roberts has signed a new contract with the Bees for the 2026/27 season!
Goalkeeper Emma Roberts will enter her second season with the club after signing a new contract ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Emma joined the Bees from Haringey Borough, where she made 20 appearances for The Borough during the 2024/25 season.
She has built an impressive list of accomplishments over the course of her career so far, winning the Aces Nationals U18 tournament and featuring in the Tottenham Hotspur collage program.
This season, she made 10 appearances for the Bees and produced some incredible moments between the sticks, including saving a penalty in the shootout against Queens Park Rangers in the Capital Women’s Cup, as well as delivering an impressive performance against Fulham at home in the final game of the season.
Speaking on Emma’s new contract, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“Emma has had a good first season of development and progression with us and has had some real standout moments.
Her performance in the penalty shoot-out against QPR being one, as well as her performance in the last league game against champions Fulham as well where I thought she was fantastic and really rose to the occasion making a number of top class, crucial saves.
There’s lots more development to go with her, but I’m pleased with the progress made this season and I’m expecting to see her kick on again next season”.
Congratulations Emma!
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
