London Bees are delighted to announce the signing of Midfielder Elizabeth Mulvaney ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Mulvaney joins the Bees from fellow FAWNL Division One South East side Luton Town, where she became a fan favourite after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign.
Her performances saw her recognised by both teammates and supporters, winning the Player’s Player of the Season and Fans’ Player of the Season awards.
The midfielder began her senior career with AFC Wimbledon U23s, where she continued her development before later joining up with Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm during his spell at London Seaward, now known as Athletico London.
After spending the past two seasons with the Hatters, Elizabeth makes the switch to the Bees having reached 55 appearances for the club.
During her time at Luton, she gained valuable experience in the FAWNL Division One South East, developing a strong understanding of the league and establishing herself as a consistent performer.
Speaking on Elizabeth’s arrival, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“Liz is a top signing for us.
She’s coming off the back of an excellent season with Luton, as highlighted by the two awards she won there, and we feel she’ll fit in perfectly with the way we play and what we expect from our midfielders.
She makes really good forward runs and picks up some excellent positions between lines, which I think we can really exploit with her.
She’s very dedicated, holds herself to high standards and I expect her to drive the levels in those around her”.
On joining the Bees, Elizabeth said:
I’m really excited to be here.
I’ve played against the club a couple of times now and looking back it was always a good battle but now I’m really excited to be on the other side of it.
It was great catching up with Dan, I wanted to see what his plan was for the team and for me this season and the position he wants me to play in this team and it’s exactly what I wanted and definitely the role I was interested in so I’m really excited to get started”.
Welcome to the Bees, Elizabeth!
This deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
