Sian, we return to winning ways after another convincing win here at The Hive London. What are your immediate thoughts on the game?

“I am obviously really pleased for the players because they did a really professional job against a tough outfit.

“They matched the physical battle they came with and showed their quality in possession.

“It is fantastic to get some new players on the scoresheet too.”

How impressed are you with the determination and energy shown by the players given how many matches we have had lately?

“I would not expect anything less from these players. 

“They are professional in the way they go about their business and put in a lot of hard work.

“The same goes for the staff who have been fantastic in getting information turned over ready for the players, moving into the next game.

“I would not say I am surprised that we have performed the way we have today.”

A first senior goal for Ciara Lape as well today. You must be immensely pleased for her?

“It is absolutely brilliant and is also great to have new players on the scoresheet.

“It is a really proud moment for us and we are hoping that it will be the first of many for her.”

We have been scoring from all over the pitch which is very important?

“It is important to have the ability to score from all over the pitch.

“We have lots of different threats in our attacking areas, but for goals to be popping up from other areas of the pitch is great for us.”

We host Oxford next week and it is crucial that we can continue on how we have done today in order to climb the table? 

“We are going to have to see how the players recover after today’s game today first.

“It will be a long hard week of training in the build up to it, but we are looking forward to it.

“This is the sort of opposition we really want to compete against in the second half of the season.

“We know it is going to be a tough game for us, but we relish those opportunities to go and play against teams like that.

“It should hopefully show how much we have improved as a team.”

It was a great showing from fans this afternoon and they have been sent home happy today?

“Yes, it is brilliant to have our fans with us this afternoon and we are happy that we could score five for them again.

“The players really appreciate the support and it definitely gives us an extra boost going into games.”
