Round Two of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup gets underway this Sunday for the London Bees, as they welcome Portishead Town for a 1pm kick-off at The Bees Stadium.

 

London Bees:

 

London Bees claimed a vital home win with a 3–1 victory over Cambridge United, driven by a first-half brace from Campbell and a composed finish from Isherwood early in the second half.

 

Campbell opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after linking up with Isherwood, then doubled the lead eight minutes later.

 

Isherwood added a third just two minutes into the second half before Cambridge quickly pulled one back.

 

Despite the setback, the Bees continued to press, with further chances from Isherwood and Campbell and several late substitutions helping manage the game.

 

The Bees held firm to secure all three points.

Portishead Town:

 

Portishead Town Football club was founded in 1912 in North Somerset.

 

The women’s side was re-established in 2011 and climbed steadily through the regional leagues, securing multiple promotions to reach the FA Women’s National League Division One South West.

 

The club currently sit 11th in the league, and in their recent fixture, The Possets beat Bournemouth Sports 1-0 away from home in the Division One South West, claiming all three points thanks to a goal by midfielder Kimmi Tanner-Joyce.
