London Bees are delighted to announce the signing of winger Daisy Beard ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The youngster joins the Bees after spending the last year with Moneyfields in the National League South, where she made 29 appearances and scored five goals, helping her side to a second-place finish in the table, before narrowly losing out in the play-off final to Norwich City.
Beard’s journey started in Southampton’s Academy, where she spent seven years and featured regularly for the U21’s and won the Hampshire Cup, before making the decision to have her first taste of women’s football with Moneyfields during the 2025/26 campaign.
Speaking on Daisy joining the Club, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“I’m really pleased to welcome Daisy to the club.
She’s very aggressive and front foot in how she plays, which fits in brilliant with our style and ethos, and she has a top-class attitude and outlook which, again, fits what we’re about perfectly.
She knows what it’s about to be competing at the top of this division, having done it last season with Moneyfields, so it’s another signing that inches us closer to where we want to be next April”.
Daisy spoke on her move to the Bees saying:
“I’m really excited, this is a brand new challenge for me as well as telling myself to keep working hard and never let things be too easy.
After speaking with Dan I learnt that his ambitions are just like mine, we want to win, fight to earn promotion and the fight and determination within the team to go and win something is exactly what I want to do and Dan’s ambitions are exactly where mine are”.
Welcome to the Bees, Daisy!
This deal is subject to the usual FA and League Clearances.
