Position: First Team Head Coach

Contract Type: Full Time

Salary: Dependant on experience

 

London Bees FC has opened applications for a new Head Coach, ahead of the 24/25 season.

 

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in senior women’s football and who have an ambitious and pro-active approach with a drive to push the First Team back up the women’s pyramid and grow the Club’s player pathway.

 

The Head Coach will manage all on and off-field football activities for the First Team, with a view to promoting and supporting the Club’s plans and philosophy for the future. They will also work with youth / reserve team coaches to ensure aligned recruitment and development plans, establishing a clear and strong pathway for London Bees players.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage all on- and off-pitch football activities for London Bees First Team with the aim of recruiting and building a competitive squad which can push for promotion and ensuring continued player development.
• Oversee all First Team support staff and provide effective leadership and a clear sense of cohesion.
• Work with youth / reserve teams coaches and players to establish and support a strong player pathway.
• Develop and deliver a clear vision which supports the Club’s football strategy, values and overall philosophy.
• Engage in the Club’s community, promotional and media work and look to help grow the Club’s fanbase and support its off-pitch ambitions.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with Club staff, coaches and players.
• Uphold and adhere to Club policies, in particular its policies on equality & diversity, safeguarding and welfare.
• Be responsible to the Board and to report to the Board on all matters, including performance and strategy.

 

Role Requirements:

• Minimum UEFA B Licence (- with UEFA A Licence being preferred).
• Proven experience and success within senior women’s football at a high level.
• Previous experience in player development.
• Ability to attend all First Team training sessions and matches and to commit to full-time hours in keeping with business needs.
• Ability to work in accordance with policies, procedures and established practices and within assigned budgets.
• Ability to work toward Club plans and philosophies and communicate effectively with senior management.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to develop good working relationships.
• Commitment to working with the Club’s community and media teams to grow support for the Club.
• Proof of right to work in the UK and clear safeguarding checks.
