London Bees are delighted to announce that defender Cheyenne Flynn has signed a new contract with the Bees for the 2026/27 season!
Defender Cheyenne Flynn will enter her third season with the club after signing a new contract ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Cheyenne first joined the Bees in the summer of 2024, joining from FA Women’s National League Southern Premier side Oxford United.
The defender came up through the Oxford United Development side, making 16 appearances, scoring 4 goals and helping the U’s lift the National League Reserve Cup.
She broke into the first team before joining the Bees, making 2 appearances in the Southern Premier.
In her first season under Dan McKimm, she made 14 appearances and scored three goals, although injury ruled her out for half of the campaign.
She returned at the start of the following season and marked her comeback with a goal in the opening fixture away to Chesham United F.C.
Since then, she has represented the Bees on some of the biggest stages, including appearances at Stadium MK and Loftus Road, as well as featuring against Liverpool F.C. Women in the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup.
This season she has made 29 appearances, scoring 5 goals, assisting 4 and helping to secure 8 clean sheets across the campaign.
Speaking on Cheyenne’s new contract, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
“Delighted to be keeping Chey with us for another season.
I think the recognition she got at the end of season awards speaks to just how critical she has been to the team, despite being plagued by injury all season.
She never moans, never quits, she just gets her head down and cracks on and is so, so consistent.
You know what you’re getting from her every week, and that reliability is key.
She’s a top character and is maturing into a real leader within the dressing room too, something I hope we can continue to work with her on into next season”.
Congratulations Cheyenne!
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
