London Bees are delighted to announce that winger Layla Kenly has signed for the Bees for the upcoming season!
The 19 year old becomes Dan McKimm’s second permanent signing ahead of the new season
Layla joins the Bees from Billericay Town where she made 15 appearances for The Blues last season.
She also received the Reserves South & East Golden Boot award at the FA WNL awards.
Speaking on Layla’s arrival, London Bees head coach Dan McKimm said:
“Layla coming in will give us a real threat for next season with the raw pace she has.
She’s got a good end product too, which is an area we definitely needed to tighten up on last season, so I’m hoping her addition is going to enable us to continue creating the number of chances we have this season, but also increase the quality of supply in forward areas.
We have some work to do to get her accustomed to our style of play, but I really like her attitude and willingness to learn so I’m confident this won’t take long at all.”
Welcome to the Bees Layla!
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
