London Bees is delighted that centre-back Lucy Cockerill has agreed to join the Club.
Lucy joins The Bees having played the last two seasons at National League Division One South East side London Seaward.
The defender made 37 appearances for London Seaward having joined for Kent Football United in 2022 where she made 47 appearances.
On signing for London Bees Lucy said “I’m very happy to have signed for London Bees.
“It’s a great club with strong ambitions and I can’t wait to get started.”
Head Coach Dan McKimm added “Lucy had a tough season last year with a few different set-backs, but the resilience and mentality she’s shown to keep bouncing back is a massive credit to her and huge testament to her character.
“She’ll be a huge leader for us this season, so I’m hoping we’ll keep her fit and injury free for the whole season as, once she finds her rhythm, there’s few better at this level than her. I’m looking forward to the Bees faithful enjoying her signature slide tackles too, although I am worried for the pitch!”
