London Bees are delighted to announce the double signing of twin sisters Maria and Eduarda Andrade, who join the Bees on loan from Charlton Athletic.
The Brazilian-born duo make the move from WSL 2 side Charlton Athletic Academy, bringing with them a wealth of experience from their development through the women’s football pathway.
Maria and Eduarda began their footballing journeys with AFC Wimbledon, progressing through the club’s youth setup while also gaining valuable opportunities to train and work alongside the first-team squad.
The sisters subsequently made the move to Charlton Athletic, where they continued their development within a higher-level environment. Both players have also gained experience of senior football, including a loan spell with FA Women’s National League Division One South East side Dulwich Hamlet.
Maria operates in midfield, while Eduarda is a defender. Having spent much of their footballing journeys side by side, the pair have developed a strong understanding both on and off the pitch. Their teamwork, competitive nature and close family bond will add further quality and experience to the Bees squad.
Speaking on the Bees’ newest duo, Head Coach Dan McKimm side:
“It’s great to be able to welcome Maria and Duda to the club, it gives us further strength in depth and keeps competition for places high within the group.
They arrive with a season of experience at this level already, despite their age, and both have a fantastic attitude which will fit in really well with the group and culture here.
Maria’s got good creativity and I think will be very effective within the system that we play, and Duda brings really good athleticism at the back which again enables us to play the way that we want to”.
The sisters spoke on their move to the Bees by saying:

The club has an amazing set up and we thought this would be a great opportunity for us to challenge ourselves even more, Dan’s willingness as well to get promoted matches our values because we also want to compete, develop and further improve ourselves”.
