Ashford Town:
Ashford Town Women delivered a dominant display last Sunday as they cruised to a commanding 7–0 victory over London Seaward in the Division One South East.
The hosts wasted no time asserting their authority, with Summer Gayle opening the scoring early on to set the tone.
Abigail Kargbo then struck the second, showcasing her clinical edge to put Ashford firmly in control before the break.
Summer Gayle was the star of the show, netting an impressive hat-trick with a mix of pace, power and composure in front of goal.
Elizabeth O’Callaghan also got in on the act, adding her name to the scoresheet to round off an emphatic team performance.
Ashford’s attacking prowess proved too much for Seaward, who struggled to climb back and salvage something from the game.
Despite the strong win from Ashford, they still currently sit second to bottom in the relegation zone, and needing over 10 points to clinch safety, it will not be possible with only two games remaining this season.

Despite hitting the post twice, Lanza couldn’t add to her tally, but Isherwood made it three before the break with a composed left-footed finish.
The Bees continued to apply pressure after the restart, with two goals disallowed in quick succession before Megan Burrows made it 4-0, capitalising on a defensive error.
The fifth and final goal came in the 57th minute when Mira Hoteit headed home from a corner.
Goalkeeper Tia Ginn was rarely troubled but produced a couple of strong saves in the second half to maintain the clean sheet.
Dan McKimm will be wanting his side to finish on a high this Sunday, as the team heads into their final home game of the season, before facing Chesham United away on the 27th of April for the final game of the season.
