Dan McKimm and his side are back at the Skyex Community Stadium to face Queens Park Rangers, for a rearranged fixture in the Division One South East League.

The Bees are continuing their away run, with their fixture ending in a 2-0 win away to London Seaward on Thursday night.

Within the first opening minutes of the game the Bees took full control, gaining possession and creating early chances.

Hailey Hoare struck the ball from a free kick on the edge of the box, with great power and height to get it over the wall, but the keeper was able to catch it in the air.

Shortly after Hailey Hoare was on the ball again, hitting the ball with power, but it was blocked by the Seaward defence, deflecting it out for a Bees throw in.

Within the first ten minutes of the game the Bees finally had a breakthrough, when Megan Burrows fired the ball into the top left corner of the net, giving the Bees a 1-0 lead in the first half.

As half-time was approaching, Sam Lanza launched the ball high, hitting the crossbar and rebounding to Millie Isherwood, who tapped it into the net for a second.

But as the ball went into the goal the linesman raised the flag for offside, disallowing the second and bringing the score back to 1-0 at the break.

Five minutes into the second half Sam Lanza doubled the score for the Bees, as an attempt on goal by Hailey Hoare from the edge of the box struck the crossbar and rebounded to Sam Lanza, who headed it into the back of the net.

The hosts started to push the Bees back at times during the second half, attempting a long-range effort to try and catch Tia Ginn off guard, but she remained focused, reaching high for the ball and catching it calmly.

The Bees looked to capture a third before full-time, when Hailey Hoare made her way through the team again but couldn’t get the final shot off as it was blocked by the Seaward back line.

As the referee blew the whistle for full-time, the Bees were able to take all three points from the game with a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Queens Park Rangers:

Ellie Searle was the hero for the Rangers on Sunday, as her last minute strike secured a 1-0 home victory to her side against Actonians.

The game started out quite evenly for the two side, keeping hold of the possession but struggling to create any chances on goal.

Actionians created the first real attempt on goal minutes before half-time, producing a powerful strike towards the Rangers net, forcing R’s keeper Chrissie Wiggins to reach out and make the stop.

The second half provided much of the same action, with both sides unable to break through the back lines and guide the ball towards the net.

As the game was entering its final moments of regular time, Ellie Searle struck a long range effort towards goal, sailing it over the goalkeeper range and giving the hosts the lead at the end.

Last time these two sides met:

The two sides last met in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on the 8th of December 2024 as the Bees progressed to the next round of the cup with a 6-3 victory in extra time.

The game brought excitement very early on in the first half as Millie Isherwood opened the scoring to give the Bees the lead.

QPR responded just as fast when Courtnay Ward-Chambers connected to a cross, putting the ball into the net and grabbing the equaliser for the visitors, shortly after Ashleigh Goddard then took QPR into the lead before the break.

The Bees piled on the pressure in the second half to which later paid off as Millie Isherwood grabbed a second for the Bees as well as her second of the day as the game reached the end of the ninety minutes.

Dan McKimm’s Bees used extra time to their full advantage, despite conceding early on they claimed four goals in the space of thirty minutes through Hayley Hoare, Lily Whitelock and Millie Isherwood, raising her tally to four goals, completing the hat-trick and sealing the win for the Bees.

Dan McKimm will be looking for his side to finish the weekend off with another strong victory away from home, taking the three points and progressing up the league table.
