London Bees are delighted to announce that Millie Isherwood has agreed terms to extend her stay at the club for the following season.
Isherwood joined the club back in July 2024, and in her first season she has made 24 appearances in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and getting 4 assists throughout the season.
She has also received 1 opposition player of the match award.
Speaking on her stay, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
This season has been a big step up for Ish, and a big learning curve for her.
She has bags of raw talent, but I think she’s seen the challenges that you can face in the National League this season.
I’m very pleased with how she’s progressed, adapted and developed, which is what this season has been all about for her at her age, and I think she’s matured an awful lot since she came in last summer.
But now we need to make sure we get the consistency from her game-in, game-out that’s required of top forwards at this level of the game and also needed for us to be competing where we want to be next season.
She’s notched up a good tally of goals in all competitions, which is a great sign as far as we’re concerned, but next season we want to make sure her return in the National League, especially in the bigger games against the tougher oppositions, is reflective of the player we need and which we think she can be.
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
