Barnet FC & London Bees FC announce the appointment of Natasha Kleanthous as Chief Executive of the Bees Football Group.

Natasha has been the Legal and Club Secretary for both London Bees FC and Barnet FC since 2020 and will now begin her new role as Chief Executive, effective immediately.

Natasha, a Cambridge graduate and qualified lawyer, previously worked at a London sports law firm, which included a secondment at then Premier League side – Watford FC. She also has prior experience in football administration, having previously worked at both Clubs from 2014 to 2018, and was Assistant Club Secretary at the time of Barnet FC’s 14/15 promotion to the EFL .

As Chief Executive, she will divide her duties between London Bees, where she helped orchestrate entry into the inaugural Tier 2 of women’s football, and Barnet FC, where she has been focusing her attention for the last few years as Club Secretary and acting on all first team transfers, registrations and administrative matters.

On her appointment, Natasha said: “I’m delighted to expand my role at the Clubs, and I’m looking forward to working together to build on what we have achieved to-date and to evolve into yet new areas of success.

“My first job will be to appoint a new coaching team and start on the rebuild of London Bees, in preparation for next season.

“With Barnet FC, I have enjoyed working with Dean Brennan and will continue to support his drive and enthusiasm to push the team forward.

“My role will be to ensure that both Clubs run efficiently off the field and that the operation and facilities are optimised to drive them forward on the field, too.”

Chairman Tony Kleanthous said “Natasha has always shown great interest in the Clubs and has spent many years behind the scenes helping wherever needed.

“From cleaning tea huts as a kid, serving in the club shop and ticket office at Barnet FC, to winning a licence for London Bees to compete in the Women’s Championship. She has quietly got on with the job and earned her stripes and the respect of all working alongside her. She is black and amber through and through.”
