London Bees are delighted to announce that Ronnie Richards has joined the Bees for the upcoming season!
The defender joins the Bees from Barking Abbey’s Football Academy, where she made 19 appearances in the South Premier of the National Football Youth League last season, as well as scoring 3 goals.
She also lifted the league title with Barking Abbey, as the team went on to top the group, winning the league with 43pts.
As well as also winning the AOC National Cup & National Youth Cup with Barking.
Ronnie has also represented Tottenham Hotspur, Watford & West Ham United during her career, including winning the JPL League & JPL U18 Cup with West Ham.
Speaking on her arrival, London Bees head coach Dan McKimm said:
“I’m pleased to welcome Ronnie to the club. She’s a young, talented player with a bright future if she keeps working hard.
She’s got a great physical profile and an excellent range of passing but given her age we’re most concerned with how coachable she is and her attitude on this front is fantastic.
She’s got lots to learn and it’s a very different environment and big step up for her, but I’m excited at the potential with Ronnie.”
Welcome to the Bees Ronnie!
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
