London Bees are delighted to announce that Sam Lanza has agreed terms to extend her stay at the club for the following season.
Lanza joined the club back in June 2024, and in her first season she has made 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and getting 5 assists throughout the season.
She has also received 4 opposition player of the match awards.
Speaking on her stay, London Bees Head Coach Dan McKimm said:
Sami, Sami, Sami … the girl would run all day if you let her!
Just another player who is completely honest in everything she does.
Again, that’s so important for me and the culture I want here at the club.
She’s come up with some big goals for us this season and in big games, so she has to take massive credit for this.
But she also knows that we’d like to see her being even more clinical as I think she could have, and maybe should have, bagged over 20 for us this season with the chances that she’s had.
And for me, when you’re talking about top strikers at this level, anyone who can do that in the National League you can really say has pedigree.
I’d love to see this for Sam next season, she deserves it for her work ethic, but this game gives you nothing for free, so she knows she’s going to have to earn that right.
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
