Sian, a 3-0 defeat at home to Bridgwater United. What are your initial thoughts?

“I am really gutted because they are a team that we need to be competing strongly against.

“It is a tough one to take, especially when we dominated large moments within the game.

“They were clinical when they had the opportunities to counter and break, which has proven to be the difference.

“They took their chances and we did not deal with the threats they posed to us unfortunately.”

It was a really hard-fought game and the first half was end-to-end. Are you happy with the effort that was put in?

“Yes definitely. You can never fault the team for the effort that they put in.

“Our players fought all the way to the end and kept pushing in search of an equaliser.”

You have mentioned before that we are trying to work on our home form. What do you think we can do to improve that?

“We just needed to deal with the counterattack much better today.

“They had some great quality going forward and it caused us huge issues.

“Once we attacked, we just did not transition appropriately and they caught us three times with very similar goals.

“It is just something that we need to be aware of and we must continue to work on that to make sure it does not happen again.”

It is a quick turnaround for the MK Dons game on Wednesday evening. What are your main thoughts going into it?

“It is a huge game for us and we know the quality that they have.

“MK Dons have had players return from injury since the last time that we played them and have had players move on.

“They have had some good results lately and have given high-quality sides in this league a tough run.

“I am expecting a difficult game that we need to be fully focused and ready to go and compete in.

“We need to dominate it physically and technically which is something that we will look to practice in training.”
