We are delighted to announce that defender Rebekah Wozniak and midfielder Aimee Durn have both signed for London Bees!

Wozniak joining the Bees after playing for Reading FC last season meanwhile Durn has joined from fellow WPL Division One club Ashford United.

Speaking on Wozniak’s signing, Head Coach Dan McKimm said, “Rebekah is an outstanding talent already.

“She’s tall, athletic, reads the game well, and has excellent ability on the ball. She really has got the makings of the full package.

“We’ve recruited smartly across our defensive line and bringing her in takes it to that next level again.

“If she keeps working hard, keeps pushing and challenging herself, and learns from the fantastic people around her, I think it could be a really big season for her.”

McKimm also added his thoughts on midfielder Durn joining the club, “Aimee is a player who I’ve admired greatly for many years now, she’s been a constant thorn in the side every time I’ve come up against her previously so to have her on my side finally is a welcome relief!

“She’s a player we identified immediately as wanting to bring in when we came into the club, and I’m really pleased we’ve managed to make it happen.

“She brings so much energy and tenacity to the centre of the park, and I’m expecting her to be the source of plenty of creativity for us this season.”

Welcome to the Bees, Rebekah and Aimee!

The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
