The Bees faced a 3-0 loss at Champion Hill against Dulwich Hamlet, starting the run of away games on a lower note.
As the game kicked off, Dulwich immediately set the tone for the game with an early shot on goal which sees it go just wide.
As the Bees looked to counter attack with a high ball, Burrows prepares for the chance but is denied the opportunity from outside the box.
A corner for the opposition converted into a goal by a header allowing the home
team to take the lead 5 minutes into the game.
With spirits still high, Campbell looks to create an equalising chance from across the box however Hamlet’s defence stops any chances to score.
Dulwich continue to press into the Bees box with Ginn being quick on
her feet and stopping any further opportunities for the home team to extend their lead.
Bees fight their way forward with the ball moving along as Whitelock and Lanza attempt to translate chances into the goals.
38 minutes into the first half and Whitelock’s attempt to secure the equaliser was just short as the ball just skimmed past the crossbar.
Hoteit is bought down by the opposition following a tackle leading to a swift
substitution as Heil comes on to finish the final minutes.
The second half resumes with the Bees being determined to succeed, but Dulwich double downs their lead in the 48th minute.
Whilst the home team looks comfortable, the Bees look to create chances with a corner with the ball just missing the net and their keeper clearing it away.
With the hunt continuing in the 68th minute Hoare strikes the
ball but it’s either found in the keeper’s hands or flying just past the goal.
The 82nd minute saw Dulwich make it three with Ginn being just short of catching the ball as it flew past into the back of the net.
As the team in pink celebrated their 3-0 victory at home, Bees look forward to their Thursday fixture facing London Seaward away.
