The Bees managed to come back with a 1-2 away win at Rectory Park against Actonians, with a last-minute winner to take the three points.

The first half saw a slow start as both teams looked to take possession of the ball equally in the opening minutes of the game.

As Actonians looked to take the lead early on, Ginn and her defence line, denied any chances for the home team.

Hoare tried her luck early in the 13th minute which the keeper saved, and then her free kick attempt in the 45th minute with the ball going just wide by hitting the post led to a goalless first half.

The second half started with a half-time substitution for the Bees with Lee coming on for Affri.

As the weather picked up with some rain and stronger winds, it set a challenge for all the players which led to more physical challenges for the ball.

Lanza looked to create many opportunities driving the ball forward towards the box yet the Actonian defence stopped any progress to be made.

The home team looked eager for a chance with an attempt just hitting off the crossbar but in the 82nd minute, a chip over some players in the box led to them taking the lead.

With a new sense of fire, the Bees were determined to equalise with counterattacks which led to Heil scoring the equaliser in the 89th minute.

As extra time ticked, and a corner presented for the Bees, Hoare scored directly from the corner with the ball perfectly curling into the back of the net.

This secured the winning goal and the needed three points leaving London Bees 4th in the table, with 32 points.
